Whenever I load up a server, and it finishes loading it goes back to the server browser, and I get the error saying 'This server only supports players with unmodified BF2 content'. But I don't see what would be causing this, I've never edited any files, and I think the only thing that could have conflicted with it is a mod I installed to have 64 player maps in single player. I can't find that mod, so is there anyway to fix it?

Re: Modified Content Error
That means I have to redownload the patch and it takes hours :/
Bump.
I've re-installed, re-patched and I get the same error. Weird?

Re: Modified Content Error
When you uninstall, remove any left over files manually and run a registry cleaner to get rid of any BF2 crap left in Windows. I always run Crap Cleaner (CCleaner) after uninstalls.
It could be that this mod has changed some of the code in the registry scripts and when BF2 installs it sees the file already exists and therefore doesnt overwrite it.

Install BF2. Install 1.41 update. install SF/EF or/and AF and then reinstall 1.41 update.

Re: Modified Content Error
can you do this, and for a LAN (a public LAN on a campus game room) with ***** patch or anything?Originally posted by |CBW|SimonInstall BF2. Install 1.41 update. install SF/EF or/and AF and then reinstall 1.41 update.
I have 14 copies of the game for the LAN but dont want to leave the discs in the PC's where the kids can get at them and possibly steal the discs.
