in the last 2 weeks i got 8 badges 4 ribbons and went from lance coeral to staff sergent. Am i going just a bit to hard? Im not posting this to brag but to see waht other peoples perspective is on my gameplay so dont come and say" YA thats nothing i got 400954902814 badges and 89214730734 kills in one round".

Well, it depends how you're playing the game. Are you playing all day, with the medic or support class while hogging some vehicle every game?

Not really...that's about 2 -3 days points. When you start dreaming about Karkand or walking down the street and think to yourself.."that would be a good place to lay a claymore!" then you're overdoing it:)

Yeh it's 2-3 days if you go for it. If im about 3k off a rank i'll get stuck in and play like mad til i get the rank then i'll lay off for a bit.

it depends wat badges/ribbons u got...there are some really easy ones like the basic ones and there are hte easy ribbons like airborne, combat action, ....yeah

overdoing it means u give up time from other important stuff (like family , school) just to play bf2

Nah!! You are not Overdoing it. In fact CONGRATS!!!! It has taken me almost 10 Months to get where you are in just a few days. Not that I suck that bad I just have 4 Kids a wife and a cat that also occupy my time and unfortunantly I have to go to work. LOL!!!
