Looking for a Vet to tag around with

I like to find a vet to show me the ropes.

I have joined squads with the highest scorer. and usually if I ask the guy a question or two.. or 10

I can see how it would get annoying..

he will get pissed and kick me off his squad. that has happened a few times.

I would like too practice being a gunner for a chopper pilot.

I cant hit anything yet with that tv missile. but its fun trying.

so if anyone would like to school a N00b. I would be grateful.

cant you do it single player with bots. bots still pilot if u tell them to get in?

We should just shedule a day and time where about 50 TBF2 forumites gather together to invade a few servers. Its would be a slaughter!

I've always wanted to do something like that.

If I had a server or knew someone who runs one I would try to organize it myself but its too much of a pain in the *** to try to do it by just picking a random server and getting everyone in it. Thats not as big a problem as not being able to kick/ban all the lamers who would come along only to tk and try to rage people.

Ive done this before with other games and forums I visit, its a lot of fun. I would think it would be even better with BF2 because of all the vehicles and things that players can "specialize" in.

Yeah, unless it's East Coast Americans and Irish/UK players, playing in an Iceland server. I'm thinking, probably everyone would have 60-70 ping. Which isn't that bad.

i reccomend flying a chopper by yourself and seat swapping to fire the tv missile at random things. or go into single player and get a bot to fly, theyre arent likely to point the chopper at a target tho, so just shoot the missles for practice.

Firstly, i would advise watching some videos, type chownage in google vids. Someone from this community actually made it (Chodda) and it was really helpful when i started gunning, if not entertaining.

aslong as your trying to learn and are eager, i would be happy to pilot for you (aslong as we can talk on xfire first) because there are a few gunning basics that are going to frustrate your pilot if you dont know lol.

I admit its not as good as a nice 16 ping, but since bf1942 ive played with a lot of my usa freinds on USA servers if im honest i play more state side servers than euro and im from the UK..

as long as its not over 200 its more than playable..

hell i played CAL and TWL on desert combat for a very good team with my bloody 100-200 ping... And did very well..
