Awesome use for C4 Detonator

I love shongua stalemate. One of my favorite things to do is to be spec ops and defend a certain flag (the one on the right of the map). My Scar-L performs admirably (lets not hijack the thread bashing the Scar).

Anywhoo:

One of the things I like to do (a bit devious) is to rig the empty APC that's there with c4 and wait for an enemy in a dpv to drive up.

Well what happens if a friendly gets in and I have to use some c4 for something else?

Yes - i can lay enough c4 to make the first dissapear - but that requires the help of someone. And lets face it - who supports people in the back defending bases?

So you pull the c4 detonator out - and right click. that disables all currently deployed c4.

It's a suggestion . Right click is used to select between C4 and Det .

i rather just stick c4 under the apc(where it spawns) so if a fellow team mate drives off in it... it will be ready for the next apc that spawns in that exact same place.

ok forget the right click thing (sometimes i brain-fart) - how about using the F button for it.

i think more importantly your c4s should still be active for atleast 3 or5 minutes. you lose control of them immediately if u die and dont get revived. u spend all ur sprint to dodge weave jump then duck jump prone to get close enough to the tank to get ONE put on it, then he kills u by running over ur legs....and the c4 just sticks to him doesnt even dissapear, its still there, but its useless, well you can see the c4 but other players might not, but you see them if U put it there. at least be active for 1 minute after death.

(sometimes i brain-fart) - how about using the F button for it.

pressing the f button scrolls thru ur weapongs, switching between ur weapons, very usefull in plane and chopper-gunner

For REAL C4 fun..put them on the tanks, apcs and IGLA sites (in specific places on each vehicle) so that when people jump in..they can't see out in 1st person mode! >:)

i wish i could find the thread you guys speak of.

i figured out how to block the sites on the apc by sticking c4 on the front of the turret however i cant locate where to stick it on the tank.

can someone fill me in here?
