Ive just just ot over to Spain idadand ive just installed bf2 then on my lap, ive got a windowxp vista brand new release candidtate 1 customer preview progran , intel core duo processor t2050 1.6ghz 533mhz fbs 2mb l2 cache intel graphics media accelertor 950 1gb ddr2 support dual channel ram. when i double click on the game it comes up with bf2 then loads, and then crashes to desktop, i get an error message saying debug assertion failed! version 1.0.2442.0 build date 2005-5-23 0:13 nodule redddx9 file c: dice projects bf2 cide bf2 renddx9 renddx9init.cpp text failed to create d3d device unknown cause invalid call current confile,not so good with laptops so anyhelp would be great

ur problem is ur video card...
only supported video cards are from nvidia and ati and i think the lowest card from nvidia for bf2 is the fx5200 and the lowest from ati might be the 8500
any graphics cards from intel wont be supported by bf2 -

No. The integrated graphics on your notebook won't be able to play any 3D games made after about 1999 that well, and I don't think you can even upgrade the graphics on that model.Originally posted by SOLIDSNAKE23451
