Joystick Help

I am running a MS Sidewinder forcefeed back joystick. I have notice that is is unresponsive. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this. Is ther a way change the setting in the game or tweek it in any way. I have reclibrated it in Windows and saw a little improvement.

I have the same stick, has it just started happening? Does it only happen in bf2? Have you tried uninstalling your drivers and reinstalling them? Is the separate power cable plugged in?
