Any Point Updating?

Just got BF2 a friend said no point updating patches etc, he said it brings in more bugs can ne one give second opinion.

That all depends. You want to play on all the same servers that the rest of us are playing on, or a very limited (if there are any) number of servers that are running the original unpatched version?

Thats' easy, find a few well admined servers, problem solved.

Either that or stick to single player.

thats not entirely true....

the patches incrementing by .1 bringsthe most problems like the 1.2 patch messed up the game alot but the 1.21 patch fixed that and it wasnt bad until 1.3 patch came out...

personally i still play the demo more often to avoid connection problems and some of the more annoying bugs

1.4 has most of it cleared up.....Plus with 1.4 you have a new map

2 new maps if u include wake island from patch 1.2

I just got the full 1.4 or w/e,,, still having problems with the "broken-new" GFX card... 2 ina row... lol I am buying one from a local PC retailer by me within the week so I will definitely see you all on the bf.
