All those hacks, noobs, tkers, people that blow into the mic, people that can't speak english, gay people, glitches, waste of hours, lagg, crashing servers, sniper rifles that can't aim right, tank whores, gernade whores, any whores, people that start vote kicks, people that ask idiot questions Eg:"What's a noob?" and acualy being serious, all the people that say you hack or cheat cause u owned 'em, spammers, people that always type non stop, lag spikes, claymores, squad members that blow your cover, noob pilots, through the wall kills, spawn killers and plenty plenty plenty plenty more!!!!!!!

I think i'll play it for another year. But i dont think it''s gonna die though. For me BF2 is the "getaway from all the stress" I endure in life. However, I think my girl will pretty much disagree on that part..........

Till Command and Conquer 3 comes out then im going back to all out war although I did enjoy this FPS but it does get a bit boring. What I'd Give to have the jets fixed so its skill that is needed and not the Us plane having to fire 7 missiles and your is the best position.

My guess, because that is all anyone can do is guess, it when they actually stop playing. The gaming is fickle, which should not be confused with the cross-dressing sexual realignment disorder known as Finkle names after the Dolphins Place Kicker Ray Finkle. Time will tell. It may very well be like BF1942, where people are still playing it and the various mods for it for years and years.

I'll continue to play this game for years yet. The only other good games out at the moment are Company of Heroes and Call of Duty 2. Can't wait for Rainbow Six: Vegas and Command and Conquer 3!!

Its not going to stop being popular any time soon, there will always be people whose systems wont support "The latest game" and they'll play this which will be in the future when the new games are released a lower end game, it'll be just like BF1942. 1942 was released in what, 2001? Its still very popular. My guess is it will lose popularity when the ranking systems and stuff like that go down, EA will eventually tire of the cost of maintaining the master server for the rankings and people will start playing less.. thats not going to be in the near future though im guessing so no worries :)

Who cares? Why does everyone want a timeframe on when BF2 will end? Why worry about it?

Play it until it no longer becomes enjoyable for you. Hell, I still fire up Tecmo Super Bowl on the old 8-bit NES from time to time...

As soon as some of the more popular mods come out (FH2 for example) guys will flock back in droves. I imagine there will even be a surge in sales as I know a lot of folks never planned to buy it until the mods were released.

Since BF42, I've tried lots of different new "ground breaking" games and have been fairly dissapointed with all of them and always come back to the BF series.
