wat is the agp speed of ur mobo?

im not 100% sure about this topic but to be sure u could open up ur case, take out ur video card (remember to ground ur fingers first) and look at ur agp slot at the the shape..and if it looks like it can fit in the one above then good

and ebay rox...i got my 6800gt oc (new) for like $ 107

Thank You, I had a detailed convo with someone on MSN he said bottom line AGP fits AGP ports :P so yea thats good, I then asked a gamer and he asked for mobo details etc All I can remember is saying
          4X PCI, 1X AGP = 3.0
          AGP 8x
          He ssaid it should work.

need to know what your motherboard is and if it has an agp slot or not i think your old vid card looks like one of those really old type that went into the pci slots if u have an agp good if not u will need to replace your motherboard if u want to run that card

with the card u showed at the beginning of the thread it doesnt look like it needs extra power plugs (with mine it needs 2) if the card is in correctly it should boot up fine, does it mention a bois for the card when u first start the comp??
                              what card did you buy?

9600 XT, it did not say anything about BIOS, I am coming closer to crying :'( lol... this is starting to piss me off. Hmm.... my local PC shop says I should take it down but its pissing down with rain. He also said that its either not in right, also some along the lines of you need to view the screen to install it.. No **** eh. Anyway if anyone can help much pleased :)
