I knows this is the wrong forum, but it is a technical issue, I think. I played Bf2 on my computer and I recently purchased 2142 on the same computer and the game seems to be running so fast that I barly aim at the enemy. I've adjusted the mouse sentitivy, but there seems to be little control of my mouse in the game. Is anyone else having this problem or had this problem in BF2 or 2142? Thanks in advance.

Re: Speed of game too fast-help
It is an AMD sepheron with a 1.99ghz and a ATI 256RAM 9550 or something higher and 1.5g of ram. It plays fine with BF2, but 2142 is like everything is moving at a double time and when I fire a weapon, there is so much recoil, that it is difficult to hit a target.Comment

Re: Speed of game too fast-help
Thanks for your help. I was plan on upgrading to a AMD processor with a 3.0or 3.1 ghz with 2gb of Ram and a 256MB ATI x700, would that solve my problem or would it be waste of money?Comment

You should not have to buy a new CPU as you state the one your using makes the game run too fast?? In Hl2 there is or was a bug that made the gameplay very fast, but this was patched either by Amd of Valve.
Read this manual to get some knowledge on how a system runs.Comment

Do you have a link regarding BattleField 2 and AMD 64 bits processor? I have a AMD 64 bits CPU and I have no problem with BF2 - 2142 on Windows XP and Windows XP 64.Originally posted by $kelet0rthe problem is that you have an AMD 64 bit processorComment
