I have been using one with the BF2 keyset for about a year now and love it. Once you play with it, you will not be able to go back to the basic keyboard!

I have the standard Z-Board w/ the downloaded BF2 mod, & the new Z-Engine so that I can reassign any key

I assigned the prone command to the E button (as support is my fav infantry kit I prone a lot)

        I <3 it

I had to set my prone to one of my thumb buttons on my mouse. My pinky is stupid worthless when assigned to such an important task.
I do like how the space bar also opens your chute. That got me killed a lot when I played on my wife's comp, though. I would pound space and splat.

Is there any lag with this keyboard? Do keys stick?

I have been reading some online reviews and some people are mentioning slight lag and key sticking.

I've never understood how people could even play with the default setup on the left side of the KB. I've always used nothing but the right side of the KB, IE. numpad, arrows, insert/home/page up etc.

The only thing i have found so far to be wrong with the keyboard is, When i want to change my keyboard back to the normal keyset i have to restart my comp as the keyboard wont work. Apart from that i havent had any lag or keys getting stuck. Not yet anyway,

I don't have to restart my comp when I change keyboards

I have only had a key stick once, & I atribute that to not laying the gaming keyboard in correctly (you have to watch that you don't kock the round rubber pieces in the base of the keyboard

                            Re: Zboard Keyboard.

I have it and love it.

I sometimes have the problem of having to reboot my comp after I shut down a game, and try to swap back to the regular keyboard. Haven't quite found the solution yet, but it is a minor problem for the most part.

No sticky keys or lag at all.

For the southpaws, the Fang keypad has the same functionality as the Z-board, and can be configured ambidextrously.

If you really need a functional word processing keyboard, this is probably the way to go. The stock Z-board keyset is fine, but plain jane and not very ergo.

                              Re: Zboard Keyboard.

I've got a ZBoard with the BF2 keyset too, and I absolutely love it! I could never go back to a normal keyboard...!

Haven't had any problems with getting the keyboard to work when changing keysets. I'm using the XP x64 drivers.

What I do have a problem with is a key sticking. It's my 'forward' key, and it sticks a lot, I guess about 1 out of 10-15 times I use it. When I let it go, it's stuck in the keyboard, and I have to quickly tap it for it to bounce back up. I wish I had a count of how many times I've run over teammates or crashed into objects/vehicles due to this problem, he he. This is the only key sticking though, and it started happening after around 700-800 hours of usage.
I've pretty much gotten used to it though - I'm always ready to tap the button if it doesn't pop up automatically. Still, I'd love to get it fixed somehow..
