laggy?

im usualy like 230 ping in servers. i have cable internet. here are my omp specs
1gb of ram 2.2 ghz nvidia 5600 fx. yeah graphix card aint best but shouldnt it be like at 100? or something thanks

Your graphics card has nothing to do with your ping. Run a virus and spyware scan; make sure that you haven't got any torrents running in the background and if you are on LAN that anyone one the other computers are downloading.

kk im doing the spyware check now. and it said no virus spyware or anythign detected :/

Why don't people include Full System Specs related to the problem?
Well ok never mind.. If you could post these we can eliminate some things.

- Ok which provider and which package did you got?
- Where's your location?
- What's your processors brand? AMD, Intel etc.

As EAGLE_18 said make sure you play the game with most programs who can share/use your internet connection off.

I would like to hear from you if this worked.

are you sure its your ping making it laggy?? altho 230 is high try checking your frame rate also, open up console ~ button and type in "renderer.drawfps 1" a number should appear top left corner change all the time, a low frame rate will seem like its lagging

No i fixed it well kinda, i think i must went to a server far away, cuz now i have pings like 50-60 or sometimes 100 but its not laggy at all. but ill close all my programs now. thanks.
