You can't "own" with unlocks.. If you really want to "own" then use a M16 / AK those depend on real skill as making shots hit with recoil.

I find the G3 harder to use than the M16A2.. He gets bonus points in my book for killing anything with THAT gun.. I only use G3 when I KNOW I need the PKM *without* the massive reticle.

If the stock weapons are better than the unlocks, but you like the unlock better, what makes the unlock for noobs?

I like the G3 for the sights

Edit: I am a 3-star, but I was "pleased" to kill Baby Spinach, & Bushviper 1 round, not because they are high ranked, but because they are hard to hit, very few ppl kill them in a round when they are "hot" (to be honest they both killed me more than I killed them, but I still had a high k/d, defended the palace in Warlord, & won the game as commander) lmao

- The AK-101 has a reload time of 4.958 Seconds the G3 has 4.375 Seconds.

- The AK-101 needs 5 shots to kill an armored infantry the G3 needs 4.

- The AK-101 needs 0.5 Seconds to kill an armored target the G3 needs 0.3

The AK/M16 are always in a dis-advantage when someone has a G36E.. Most unlocks are better than the not unlocks isn't that the main reason why you chose them ..

Of course it isn't fair if you have an advantage trough the choice of weapon and if he had the same weapon and you shot him three times in a row then ok that's "pwnage"..


Please if you post remarks about that the AK-101 is better than a G3 back it up with proof. Next time do your homework

the hardest badge there is in bf2 is expert armor which i dun plan on getting but i need veteran which is 100 hours and i hate it

The AK-101 (Awesome accuracy), AK-47 (Headshot capabilities), and the M16A2 (Superior Burst) are all better than the G3.

Not only are they better guns with more ammo, better deviation, better recoil, and almost identicle damage to the G3 - they come with a grenade launcher too.

Yes the M-16 has much better accurancy, then the unlock, but the first unlock for the assault kit is one powerful machine when you get the hang of aiming right.

But I "beg to differ", 35x600 (21,000) > 45x450 (20,250), they should have done their math (& you get a bigger mag too!)

Also you can't hit jack w/ the PKM standing up, the RPK is more like that AK-47 w/ a big mag

The PKM is deadly on SS (taping trigger), but so is the RPK-74 in burst (taptap taptap taptap)

I don't have SF so... I'm happy with the PKM and G3. F2000 has rad sights though, pick up that sometimes. I can't see long distance with the AK, simply prefer G3 or L9

i've got 11,000 points too... I don't get Global Score, they don't add up. Combat plus Team = 5k off my Global. So half my commander points went through?

It can be a boring job but if u want the ribbon and expert badge then it makes it worth while.

I often command , & fight because no 1 wants to command, & me commanding, & fighting is better than no commander @ all

Sometimes I command just to get the team turned in the right direction (I like winning)

Also defending the main base against spec-op & vehicle thieves can be far from boring

Often in large servers I move up in defensive positions (such a s TOW), & in small servers get into the fight @ the end if it is close

LG SB "Fighting Commander" (Some can do it effectively, most can't)

ps. I don't do it for the points, quite often i would have got more points if I had not commanded (counting my kills x2)

I go commander if we are losing and no one wants to be it. But I will still go out and help with the flags, just play it a little safer than most. Do a better job than the lazy ones hiding over the hills and far away anyway
