Well they are pretty popular to be a "dumb server with dumb rules". Take my advice, before you knock a popular server, think about what you say because in the end it makes you look like a jackass.

Those kinds of rules they have keep the server popular because it probably keeps asshats such as yourself away from it.

IRL both pilot and copilot have access to all functions in a helicopter, in case any of them is unable to fight.

Well, I'm sure of that... but in BF2 you are required to switch to the gunner position in order to fire a TV missile, am I correct here?

Basically, it shouldn't be as easy as "hitting the F2 key" to change to the gunner's seat; perhaps having to stand near the chopper's nose to obtain gunner, and closer to fuselage for pilot. Sorry for changing the topic in a slight fashion, least it relates to helos...

today, some jackass did something to me called "lining", where u kill ur heli gunner by driving over to the red line and making them die, while you dont. ALL ADMINS, WATCH FOR THIS, AND KICK, OR BETTER, BAN FOR IT. IT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED.

I've made a habit of planting 1 or 2 units of C4 on any vehicle or aircraft I hop on; perhaps more for the purposes of winning kamikaze runs than spiting my passengers and co-pilots/gunners.

This also works to my advantage when THAT happens. My most memorable and most random line (to the offender) before I hit the pretty little red button:
"HEY D*CKHEAD!!! NICE PENIS!!!" ~blip~*BLAM!*

R2 is a server with dumb rules. Thanks for letting me know what to avoid.

:laugh: Don't make me laugh. Only solo whores who force people OoB don't like our silly rules. These "special" players I'm sure can find another server where they can kill their gunners on.

Let me see, 52 people, server is full, 12 reserve slots, that currently 18 people "pay for" (that is guests) $365 in donations last month.I guess our dumb rules, keep the server full. :p

Meh I find that like 1 out of 20 people or more in this game can do it without killing themselves....Im still practicing, though I never would do it to someone who is good or at least knows what he is doing....or on a server with admins.

R2, you probably get players of a higher caliber on your server rather than say, Insomnia right? So that stuff isnt really necessary...
