Mousewheel rolling - how to assign?

Hello eveyone! Got one question: how can I assign mousewheel rolling to anything in game? What do I want: rapid pistol fire when i roll mousewheel.
Is it possible?

its easy, go into your settings under controls u will see fire, click on the secondary fire then move your mouse wheel it should assign it as a fire button

tried it, doesn't work. I click on "secondary" for Fire, roll mousewheel like crazy but no effect. Nothing show up.

I would have thought any kind of rapid fire pistoling would be frowned upon, especially here....you would not be able to do that by setting keys in the control options.

If you just want to assign selecting your pistol to wheel up or down then that is do-able but youll need to edit controls.con directly.

There are enough idiots in this game doing that (can you say DAO that fires faster than the PKM), don't become another one.

Well, I'm almost a Captain (1k left), I think I can live with usual mad mouse button clicking.
Btw, I saw A4tech mouses with triple-fire button. But I love my G5 too much.
