I've got a Radeon x1900xt card and a belinea 19" widescreen TFT monitor with a max res of 1400x900. I get good graphics on battlefield but i don't think they are as good as my mates who uses a nVidia 6600 on a CRT. I've tried changing the card setting's via the Radeon control center but they seem to be quite rough. I'm just using the monitor in its plug and play format as when i install the driver battlefield won't even start up. Would BF2 run at a higher monitor resolution if i could get it to run with the drivers or is 1300 x ? as in the video options 'in game' res list ??? I am currently running at 1024x768 @ 60mhz with 4x AA
Am i getting maximum graphics

Re: Am i getting maximum graphics
Playing at a 4:3 resolution on a widescreen would probably make it look pretty bad. Try using this solution: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...pic.php?t=1030
Except use your resolution instead of 1920 and 1200.

Re: Am i getting maximum graphics
i'm using the cable supplied with the monitor and the adapter socket supplied with the graphics card which the monitor cable then plugs into.

Re: Am i getting maximum graphics
one thing is that CRT produces slighty better image quality for games since most earlier lcd monitors have a slight ghosting affect where if everything is moving, its a tiny bit blurry..also are all the video settings set on high? like just to make sure
and the dvi cable provides a better imagequality for lcd monitors and if ur "adapter socket supplietd with the graphics card" is white, then its prob dvi
