BF2/SF Crashing to desktop error

I have used several guides that are supposed to help people with this problem and I have not been able to fix it on my own.

I have played BF2 on my computer for a long time and I recently bought SF. After I installed it when I ran the game the computer crashed to the desktop. I had not installed the latest patch so I installed 1.4 Full. The game still did not execute properly.

I have tried many things (Changing the name of the movies folder, Moving the BF2 folder in My Documents, editing videodefault.con, etc.)

Try to reinstall BF2 then install SF and apply FULL 1.4 Patch

Try this, it works

BF2 - 1.4 full - SF - 1.4 full again.

Is your system fully stable under other intensive 3D applications (games)?
Can you loop 3D Mark 05 or 03 for an hour with no crashes?

BF2 - 1.4 full - SF - 1.4 full again.
