BF2 Processes!

Damn, after having my new computer set up for about a week BF2 started developing issues most of them are solveable but the process issue I've got now I cant actually solve.
When I run BF2 I have to go into task manager and end the process and then restart BF2 and it runs fine though sometimes it CTD's because of this
anybody know whats happened? I havent tried reinstalling BF2 as I don't have the time and has anyone else had this issue?
btw, I have got the dual-core optomizer installed

Do you have 2 sticks of ram that arent identical trying to run in dual channel mode? Memory problems can often manifest themselves like this.

NAA, only the one 1GB stick single-sided

Where do you download the hotfix? that link doesn't say
