What the hell is this? I bought a new comp to get it to work with BF2 then when I buy BF2 the 2nd disc(despite it being brand new) is broken and then when I buy BF2 AGAIN it has this message that comes up when I join a server. I even ended all my processes(using ctrl+alt+delete) and that still didn't fix it. I swear I'm getting ready to sue them!

most likely a virus. bf1942 had the same error message

Im pretty sure its a Punkbuster thing. You have to be logged in as the administrator. I remember people having this problem with CoD.

I just got over that same problem. Reinstall BF2. You'll be all set

Also, the updating the PB thing didn't work ><.:cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

Try removing it and re-installing again, it was the only way it worked for me i tried the PB thing plus loads more advice that was given to me but only the re-install worked :hmm:
