Crash to desktop in Vista at account screen

    Hey everyone,
I just installed Vista and have had no real issues until I tried to play BF2. This is a clean install, not an upgrade and I am having a strange issue. The game starts no problem and when it reaches the login screen, my user name/pass are there but when I click login, it thinks for a while then just crashes straight to the desktop. It happens whether I login manually or put the user name/pass in the shortcut. I am running it in compatibility mode and as an administrator. Thoughts? Thanks!

Don't use beta operating systems to play retail games.
(I also doubt that Vista will be officially supported to run BF2)
So uninstall or make a dual boot partition for XP.
