    X-Fi Performance problem

you have to be carefull with the settings because with some settings you will even cause a bigger cpu usage meaning lower fps.

BUT : they never heared such a good sound as with the X-fi card, it's a huge step forwards for soundcards

I just got my X-FI Xtreme Music and experienced the following:

    - The FPS has dropped
    - LAG

NOW! I have an MSI Neo 4 Platinum MB and used the onboard sound chip which was pretty decent but I got the SB card in hopes that it would give me an increase in performance. I'm pretty sure I missed something during the install or perhaps I need to totally take out B2 and reinstall it, or clear the cache or just reformat the PC (which will be a total PAIN!!!!) Can anyone tell me what I've missed and what I can do to improve my situation. I know the lag is a result of this new hardware so I'll try reinstalling the game but other than that, I'm a bit stumped as I have not had an SB card in eons and am getting back into the rigamarol of having one If anyone can offer some suggestions it would be much appreciated

    Cheers and thanks

BTW, Anyone know exactly where I can go to clear the B2 Cache? I will try that first.
