basically, install the pre-SP3 fix for dual core ppl, and use his simple codes. It worked for me flawlessly. No more disconnection. No more lag. Absolutely no lag at the beginning or watever. Seems to work for me flawlessly. Please try and see if it works for you too.

ok i shall post more on my experience.
search on the web for the microsoft pre-SP3 fix. It is many places just look carefully. Its only obtainable from microsoft if u fone in.
after that, install the two extra "thing" on the link. Put them all in same folder. Make the two .cmd and .txt file as followed. Put same folder as well. Run the .cmd file and then run the bf2.
worked for me. I used to not be able to play at all until i fix using this. I jsut finish playing for 3 hours straight smooth like a baby's ***.
