ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, Crash & Freeze Problem

Hey guys, for awhile now my BF2 has been crashing to desktop, freezing, and even in mid play my computer has been restarting. I checked with microsoft and it is a problem with a device driver and I know it is my Radeon. I have the new 6.9 Catalyst and everything, someone please help me!

Believe it or not, my old system is doing the same thing. My bud is slightly pissed b/c he keeps trying to play BF2 and the comp restarts. Microcrap is telling him its drivers... solutions please? It also has a 9800pro.

Have you guys tried using the Omega drivers for the 9800? I have the same card and this used to happen to me as well, until I switched drivers. You can find them at www.omegadrivers.net. Also, this could be an overheating issue. These cards run really hot and if you have a bunch of other things in there as well, you could have lock ups. Good luck!
