C4 Detonator

Sorry if this has been answered before, but what is the range for the C4 detonator? Will it work if I'm on the other side of the map for example? I'm curious because I sometimes put C4 on choppers and detonate it as quick as I can, but if the range is huge then I can wait a while lol.

Let's just say you can detonate it even from your house all the way to wake island. The range is only huge for them for some reason just like the GL. If you both are same distance most likely the baddie will die

Just while we are on the topic, is there any other way the C4 can go off? because I have died before and got C4 kills after, wondering if it was a bug or not?

i think that they might just blow up after a while after u die. but i might be wrong. actually, i think that they just dissappear a little while after u die

lets say u placed c4 in iraq u can blow it up at your house.

Anywhere as long as you have the kit that you placed the C4 on.

The only way C4 can blow by its own if it was placed on something explosive I.E. Red barrels and Light Vehicles cause they can get blown easly.
