ok i kno if someone gets reported for doing something and they get their stats reset, but is that really needed

like what if lets say a Colonel plays on a knife and pistol server for the first time BUT he never goes on forums ect so he doesnt kno its against ROE, and his stats get reset, now i dont think thats really fair couse he spent all those hours playing a game that he enjoyed and took that time to get most of the expert badges and alot of the medals, then one day he goes to log on and he is a private
i dont really care if i get flamed or not but why dont you just if you can take them down a certain rank for the thing they done, like stat pad they go down 2 ranks and knife and pistol 4 ranks so they dont have to start again

can you commit a crime in the us without knowing it and still be punished? yes, its your duty as a player to know that stuff. as for the roe, the inhouse section basically gives admin free reign to what ever they want to the players. there either needs to be no inhouse rule section, or no roe.

i could care less about getting reset but yeah i agree. if you spend all your time trying to reset people and ban people then you need to get a life or get a hobby.

it's our job to report and investigate, EACS does all the resetting not us.

all we do is recommend..

I agree because to put alot of time into a game then in the end have nothing is kind of unfair so going down ranks sounds decent to me :p

tbh if you get caught on a knife and pistol server, you are one unlucky bastard...the chances of you going in one for a split second, and then getting caught by someone who knows where the prt scr button is are slim i would think.

Unless you LIVE on a knife/pistol server, then its hard to get caught.

I have been complaining about the ROE since DAY 1 !!!!
the ROE it self is ok
BUT
the players ( I presume MOST ) that NEVER visit a FORUM have
NO IDEA IT EVEN EXITS
and if EA is too friggin hypocritical to allow the GSP to keep them (KP SERVERS) open
and then reset the users -
IS SIMPLY BEYOND any SENSE OF COMMON SENSE

you dont need a big brain to understand that statpadding is against the rules, playing on pistol and knife servers=stat padding too, those guys get over 300 points a round, thats almost 2 expert knife badges

but of course ull be satisfied with one only, especially if you've only been playing one round to get it, get 100-150 knife kills in a regular server

Why do people report to you, and not directly to EA thus cutting out the middleman?

Maybe there could be like article 15s forr first time offense. Reduction in grade or something, as oppessed to complete wipe. I think this is what comrad was getting at.

Second, when I look at peoples stats that have been "wiped". It shows them with no points, but they still have all their awards and their rank is the same. Just no points. If this is the case, then they were not really wiped, they keep their rank but it will take forever to rank up again on that account. For instance, their was a post about a general who got "reset" yet his stats still showed him as a general, just with 0 points.

But while you live with your parents they pretty much teach you the laws except a few but odds are you will never break them or will never be caught,

I think ROE is unnecesary Not everyone that plays BF2 knows about it since they do not visit forums. K/P servers do not bother me at all since i never play on them and I dont care about stats,
