VoIP never stays on!!!!!

All the VoIP setting ar one when go into the game. But when i join in they turn off. It's really annoying considering I like to gun in the Z-10.
Does any one know how to fix it so the VoIP settings stay on?

Try this....

Go to Start---Run----type in dxdiag----go to the sound 1 tab ---- Move the slider under Hardware Sound acceleration level to "Basic Acceleration"

I did this and it fixed it for me. Best of luck!

make sure you are clicking apply after you put VOIP on in the settings

What sound card do you have, and make sure it's got the latest update?

I posted this solution well over a year ago :P

glad to see people can still use it to fix the mic issue.

The problem occurs most likely because you have Realtec AC'97 onboard audio (am I correct?).

For some reason that particular codec has issues w/ BF2.

I have an Audigy 2 and cannot get VOIP to work. lol.
