He may actually be an EA employee. First, his join date is June 9th 2005. Battlefield 2 was released on June 21st 2005. Second, his tags [EA] are not a prefix but rather an actual part of his name. And lastly, his PID is a very low number, starting with 3, which indicates he created his account early on. (mine starts with 7)....

.... but if IndianScount says hes not part of EA, I'm inclined to believe him.

      not that im bothered but...

31,971 master sarge and all unlocks????

EA has thousands of employees around the world so it is quite possible. When I worked for them earlier this year a few used EA tags but most (like myself) didnt because its more hassle than its worth!

If im not mistaken, couldnt you use your demo name for the actual game? That explains the join date.

Should be him, that's what the tag was anyway. Like I said, when I asked him if he was affiliated with EA, he gave no reply of any sort. If it was some kid impersonating or whatever you'd expect some lame answer like "yea dude I own EA." So I wouldn't doubt if he was/is with EA. I now when I used to play BHD online, NovaLogic Devs came into servers all the time and would cloak themselves and run around looking for hackers.

Anyone who thinks that any EA staff members even play bf2, let alone have EA in their name, needs to get real.

So, would it be logical to think that Ferrari engineers don't drive Ferraris?

Yes it would be. Ferrarir cares EXTREMELY well about the quality of their products, unlike EA. They actually test and get to know the cars. EA could care less about games if, at least, they worked.

Fair enough, but I'd have to argue that the majority of BF2'ers concur on the notion that 1.4 has remedied alot of issues and revitalized feasible gameplay. So obviously, they made an effort on the last patch.

Then you would be very wrong. In fact, when I was there we played under a clan tag (wont say what it is but it began with a letter and ended in a number - and no E and A were not part of it!) so that WE could recognise see each other, but not give it away to the public. There were quite a lot of us too!

The only time DICE or EA emploies play is if its a 24/7 wake server and they can get the J-10 everyround.
