memory.dll:thread 2400 Error plzzz help

hey guys

im currently having problems playing BF2 on the net. everytime i join the server, once im in, the game crashes and a error appears

memory.dll: thread 2400 is deallocating main thread memory

anyone know what this means? and how to fix it?

my specs are below
P4 2.8Ghz
Geforce FX5200
1Gb RAM

wats that?....it game just exits and it goes back to the desktop. it comes up with a error message, thats all

Right click on My Computer icon and left click on Manage.

One of the options under system tools is Event Viewer. Expand that and click on Applications. You should see a red cross for an application error. If you click on that it will give you more info on the crash, although you need to be a techy to decipher it.

It sounds like you may have a dodgy memory module. Is it a single stick or two 512Mb's?

its 2x512mb sticks

it didnt crash, it just always exits the game when i play BF2 on the net, i can join the servers, but once i click "join game", its exits.
the event viewer didnt show anything relating to Bf2
