I can understand that. It's really not far and above what we already have. Not enough benefits. Should look into other applications for the technology.

To fire 1,000,000 rounds the barrels would probably be a mile long.

What's the point in a 1 million RPM if you are never gonna shoot that much ammo?

1000 RPM would be enough for me. It's deadlier to infantry because you can actually aim, making it more accurate. You couldn't really use suppressive fire with a 1 million RPM gun. Not to mention the recoil.

the reason why military isnt intrested by this is cuz the only use metal storm demonstrated is jet using it to sweep groud forces. but ground targets moves, and the rounds arent guided, plus u gota be in a "good" position to fire at the targets. attack choppers are equiped with fire and firget systems( tv missles), witch u can guide. so u dont need to be at a certain place to hit the target,instead of flying over target to hit them and expose urself to aa, u can just hover over a hill, locate target, fire and forget, then go back to hide.
