Expert Knife

Well I got my 100 kills in last night and no shiny gold badge.
I'm assuming that I'll need to play another game and the next knife kill will give it to me?
check my stats. I won't be playing till later tonight. I've got 101 knife kills up what else is needed?

Must say it is a rush hunting down and getting those kills.
Got the same guy 6 times in one round last night while commanding.
I was hiding at their airfield in the back of a hanger and I had antitank kit.
I would do a scan then pop up a UAV where needed and spot this guy waiting for a chopper. Then I hopped out of command screen then ran up to this chap and knifed then hid round the corner. Back into command screen another scan another UAV spot the respawned guy and do it all again.
The first couple of times were ok but it got quite funny at the end.
He did finally get his chopper when I took too long to finish my command work. Managed to get 15 knife kills last night in all and anyone watching me would have laughed at this idiot charging into a crowd of enemys waving a knife. The kills as commander will be remembered for a while though.

sounds like you had fun, I must admit Ill miss the knife kills, i had fun getting my badges, well I still need the explosives badge, that sounds like fun too:evil:

I loved this how I got my expert pistol I really wanted that badge fair and square. So I decided to do it on a 32 Karkand. I shot the same guy 10 Times after eachother!! I think his name was FTPMaster or something like that. Well I got my Expert Pistol thanks to that guy (Partially..) It's always fun to get badges in a set amount of time. And if you get them I'm like ok and what now?

Explosives are hard arn't they.
I've been chasing tanks and throwing mines on them.
Putting mines in the back of vehicles.
30 kills in one round will be a challenge.
Got a while to go before I can get expert pistol.

I got my expert knife badge by shooting some guy with the sniper rifle :)

got the requirement the night before logged on in the morning shot a guy with the m24 and drum roll expert knife

explosives is a hard one though i just got my vet today :) and was 7 off the 30 when the round finished

Man I didn't know they took out the IAR requirement for the knife. That sucks, cuz I did it back when it still had it. Now every no talent hack is going to get one. Stupid.

I think they should nerf the IAR for the EXP knife,pistol,explosives again

Maybe cutting the IAR requirement for explosives would diminish SOME of the clay whoring... As it is some people run around with claymores in hand as a close-range suicide weapon.

yah ... this is really bad at the palace in Warlord . Snipers will be just walking around with claymore in hand . They throw one in front of you ...you kill the sniper...you move....DEAD .

lol it would be cool thta in BF2 when you knife people you get their dogtags like in BF2142
and plus it would be easy to find stat padders...like if they have 1000 tags or something shown on there stats

BTH, I don't think it would. Taking out the IAR might have been an OK solution for the K&P servers, but I don't think it will ever help for the snipers that like to run in the middle of firefights and drop a claymore.

I have to admit, that most of my claymore kills came from when there were 5 to a sniper and FF was on. I would take and put them in very strategic places. But, that was back in the day when Claymore whoring was not really a problem. The big issue was the n00btube so I don't feel bad about it...besides, I was not running up to a squad and dropping it infront of people.

GG though, you should try and go get the 18 kills IAR just to see if you can do it, that way, in your heart you know you are capible of doing it. I am sure all the people that really worked hard to get their Expert Knife feel they could get it again very easy with 18 IAR because it took so much work to get in the first place.
