Nations at War setting the example!

I saw the screenshots on Total BF2 of Nation at War and was so impressed that I checked out their website. On their Home page, Info page, contact page, and download page they have a message that says something to this effect: "Nations at War is a Multiplayer ONLY Mod. There is NO singleplayer component!"
They saved me the trouble of downloading it installing it and dying of dissapointment by that one simple disclaimer!!
TWO THUMBS UP NATIONS AT WAR!!!!
If only other MODs would be that courteous!!

I don't think they need to tell fans up front. It's not something most have or add and if they do they will promote it. It would be like me downloading a mod and complaining that there is no vehicle you want when they never said it would be there in the first place.

How long does it take to add a disclaimer saying that there is no SP component? Half a minute, I know, I've built websites before. They have to tell people if there is SP support for their MOD, if not people like me and about thirty people I know personally (from my town, which does not have Broadband service available) do not have a broadband connection. Many do not have a dial up connection either, and rely on people like me to get the MODs for them. If your MOD doesn't have SP support, it is only courteous to say so, so that the large fan base of SP gamers will not have to download it to find out!! Most MODs with websites have an info page where the tell all relavent info - that is relavent info. Why isn't it there?! All MODs with websites have download pages with a description of the download and all things relavent to installing and playing it. Why isn't it there?!!

It is all very nice for MP only/MP&SP gamers who don't give a crap too say that, but you have to take into consideration the SP only gamers who need to know that!!!!!!!!!!!!

All i was saying is unless they say its there, then assume its not. If all the mods start listing off everything they don't have... then well you will get about 100 pages of BTW we don't have this... instead they make a list of what they do have which makes a lot more sense.

That would be like releasing a MOD that ONLY supports SP, and not saying so on the Website. A game has to tell what modes/types of gameplay it supports.

BTW we dont have SP, CTF, Supply lines, Inf mode, objective mode, hostage mode, escort mode, unlocks, commander mode including UAV, Artiliary, Scan, and vehicle drops. We also dont have an A10 or Abrams. In addition to not having any of this, we also don't have...
