  • OK What Next - Recommendations

Just took my L96A1 on a joy ride. What a sweet rifle; much better accuracy then with the M95 althoug that too is a great gun with a lot of punch. Anyway I have two unlocks left and wanted to get some recommendations for the next best upgrade. Mostly I'm a sniper--about 80/85% of the time. Just about all of the rest of the time I'm special forces. It doesn't look like there are any more sniper guns and I probably need to build my SF cred although I'm also open to some career advice. (Eg should I try med??) First is there anything to be gained by saving the two unlocks. For example does a change in rank entitle me to some upgraded weapon that I might need an unlock to acquire.

And what about Gun recommendations Im thinking about the G36 C/K unlock but there go my two unlocks. I am however, open to any suggestions.

    Thanks.

Might work better if you list what unlocks you DO have.

If you like to snipe, but want to play other kits, try the L-85 for medic, or the Scar-l for Spec Ops (3rd tier unlock). Both have a scope (l-85 is better), and have good accuracy on single shot. Can make a nice medium-range or counter-sniper weapon with auto capability.

Of course the G-36 is the mother of all close range upgrades, and can't miss for trying.

Other than those, I have the shotguns for AA and Eng., and the support weapons, but my favorite is strangely enough the little P-90 for AA. Tons of ammo (50 round clip, and makes a better medium-range weapon IMO than the shotgun), but that does not seem to be the popular opinion.

I've just got the P90 and I'm looking forward to using it. Have used it in EF and like it a lot.
1st medic unlock is also a favourite as with the F2000 and Scar L

if u like spec ops...the g36c is very very good. it is accurate and i use it all the time to take out pesky snipers (with single shots of course) and its pretty good yet a little weak for cqc. Its very good for spraying and it has like no recoil..

teh g36e if u can unlcok it is like..a very good gun as well...the burst fire and power is just unstoppable and i always lose 1v1 ssituations against the g36e

Yeah the 36e is pretty much unstoppable in the right hands, so I'd go for that. I'm noob tubing people with the f2000 gl atm and that's fun =]=]

Re: OK What Next - Recommendations

I would most likely recommend the G36C; from experience, I've been able to out-snipe snipers from long-range with it, it has relatively low recoil, and the damage isn't all too bad (that of course is it's only disadvantage, it's not the deadliest weapon in the game, but one of the most accurate and well balanced).

Word of advise with any other unlocks? if you don't really play those classes, don't get them yet. I have the P90... I must say, the first time I used it, it was alright- I was at short-medium range using it the first time on an enemy soldier- and it poured a stream of bullets at his head. While that was impressive; it seems impossible to replicate that same action again. The Medic class guns seem to be raved about a lot; it does not have full-auto.

Alternatively, go for support unlocks- and read the Support guide by MrBenis; support unlocks are actually really good, but usually needs a bit of specialisation to use (like AT and Engineer), once you've got that down, those guns take down troops very easily due to their rate of fire, ammo capacity and power. (only disadvantage being; these guns can usually only be effective when you're proning).
