Dynamic shadow does nae work anymur

Hi,

I got a problem with the dynamic shadow in bf2. I can nae seem to enable it for the past, lets say, 2 months.

If i put it on low, medium or high, it goes back to "off" when i press the apply button.

It worked just fine before. Only reason i can think of is the forceware driver which i change on a regular base to a newer version (once a month or so).

Maybee it has something to do with the 1.4 patch but i dont think so.

Ma system specs are:

Intel core2 duo 2.1ghz
7900gt
1gb ddr2 800mhz
audigy2 zs
winxp
Forcewareversion atm: 91.47

Try deleting your cache folder in bf2.

umm...wat is ur setting for lighting? ithink if u have lighting on low, shadows will be automatically turned off

dynamic shadows are useless anyway, i wudnt be too bothered!! :)

but anyway....i heard them 91.47s had their problems. im on 91.33 betas. all gravy :p

Cheers for the input guys. I indeed have lighting on low and used to have it on high before. I try that one first. If that doesnt help i will try an older driver.

Shadows work for me on new nvidia drivers expect new drivers as its almost been over a month since they havent updated our cards =\

Ok it works again. I was indeed the lighting setting. When set on low the dynamic shadow does nae work nae mur. Setting lighting on medium or high allows the dynamic shadow to be enabled again. I did nae change ma driver but its one of the latest, 91.47.

I just notice a new WHQL driver has been released 2 days ago: 91.48
