Exiting while loading!

Hi there to all, i'm new to the forum so go easy on me please:) . My problem is this.I've installed BF2,SF and the full 1.4 patch. All seems well and good as i get about 4000 server's up. However, when a map is loading it gets to about 59% and then the computer just exits to window's desktop. No error message's come up or anything.Can anyone help me please? I've had the game for ages now and only just managed to get it to connect with a list of server's and now this happen's. It's pretty gutting to say the least.I've made sure the punkbuster box is checked as well. HELP ME PLEASE!

Right click on your shortcut icon and select "run in windowed mode" ...when it shuts down there should be an error code.

But, you might want to try reinstalling and repatching full 1.4.

Hey, sorry to barge in, but I'm getting the exact same error as babyalien.

I ran BF2 in windowed mode, and when loading a map, it got to 58%, and then this error message came up:

All three buttons give the same result: the game crashes.
Looks like something is up with the P90 mesh maybe?
and there is no Aphrodite directory in my D: drive, so that must be one of the dev's directories or something?

you could probly get that file from some 1

it's not a file in the system, as far as I can tell.
