Hi all, here's the deal...
A week or so ago I wound up in a Daqing game and decide to hop in the choppa with guy on my squad, just to try gunning. I've tried several times but never got the tv even close to being effective, but once in a while I give it a try. Well the pilot got on voip (I don't have a mic, but I listened intently!). He was patient, lined me up, went for repairs, coached me, and it was amazing! In just a few minutes I became an effective gunner, tv and all. I think his name was WiteKnight, and I'll be forever grateful. Unfortunately he didn't join the next round, so I just got about ten minutes of his tutelage.
The problem is now I'm hooked. Ground pounding has lost all it's thrill for me. I just want to get in a choppa with a good pilot and wreak havoc. However trying to recreate that experience is murdering my kdr. Only a couple of times out of several hours since have I been able to team up with a good pilot. Most of the time I sit waiting for the stupid choppa to spawn, or get in just as someone takes off and flies straight into a building. Seriously, I'm getting like a 1:9 kdr, but I'm desperate to gun some more. Do I have to join a clan just to get a few moments of gunning in? Ugghhh. How do you non-clan members get to pilot/gun much?

p.s. Did anyone see that South Park episode where they made fun of WoW players? Hilarious. They were dropping n00bs and pwned references all over.
