I'm just First Sergeant and I quit now.
Too long distance to the next rank.
No motivation. Its not worth it.

Thats why I love the 2142 ranking, you get ranks and unlocks here and there.

I don't remember what time I got my 2nd lt but I DO remember the long road from first sgt to sgt mjr, grats!

A year and some change. General ranks will take me about 12-18 more months, Too long to endure the poor patch quality. I got out of it because 10 hours or so a week is all I can devote to gaming.

It broke my heart to get my butter-bar. I really liked where I was being enlisted. I think I got mine at maybe 520 hours. It awhile, because I used to screw around a lot an not focus on making points.

Guess by the time you are Sergeant Major, you should know how to shoot straight, hit a moving target, when to reload, and what the best approach is when attacking a heavily guarded flag is. It seems like at about 40,000 pts, most players start getting their game together and can really push hard.

Yeah, there is holes in that statement, but for the most part, it is a generalization I have observed in the field.

I totaly agree with the above , im on about 41K . My k/d is slowly going up although i should have had more point sny now ,, 430 hrs , been medal ribbon hunting .

40,000 and im still on master sergeant, will probably reach 60,000 at 500 hrs and still be M sergeant lol
