After 2142

So what does everyone think willl come after battlefield 2142? I think they should try again at modern war, i would prefere it to the future. I don't want to fight with laser guns and space ships, give me a good old tank.

they need to look at other games...look at the size of maps and the graphics in crysis so why can't they aspire to that. what ever battlefield they chose next

Near future war, new allies and adversaries. Like 2020, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Venezula, Korea. Bigger battlefields, more players. Or alternative history like Harry Turtledove books.

That was actually the original concept for 2142, that the Cold War never ended and the Americans and the Soviets continued their struggle into space.

A couple of weeks after BF2142 is released they'll start pushing BF: Bad Company for the PC. DICE already confirmed that it's coming out on the PC, but EA are holding off on advertising the fact ;-)

I got 3 areas they should go.

Medevil - Swords, lances, horses, castles, bows, catapults, seig machines, and just pure hell. Could do the game similar to savage.

WW2 - Go back and do it right. However Dice needs to double the # of maps they ship with. We should see at least 24 maps... not less like with 2142 only having 10 maps.

Late Cold War - A what if senerio had the cold war not ended and movies like Red Dawn actually took place. We could go into the late 80's with equipment and still have most of our new toys.

Those are the 3 directions I would go if I made the calls.

Battlefield: Bad Company looks like a HUGE leap for them the graphcis look preety nice. Its probably gona take another 300 years for them to make though

How do you know its coming out for PC? I can't see why they wouldn't bring it out for PC as well as xbox and ps but i can't see why they wouldn't tell us or have they and i havn't seen it anywhere?
