I finally got the last of the medals this weekend :yay:  :yay: .
The only thing I won't be able to get in the game is the fourth star
. I won't make any top list for best player, stats or scoring, but that isn't why I play the game. Besides, I take some pride in achieving something many if not most players won't accomplish. I also got it done before almost all the top 100 players in the world.
This was my first FPS since a brief time with Rainbow 6 on a 56K modem. I have only had one account and suffered through learning how to play so my stats reflect my entire BF2 experience. I am pretty happy to get them where they are today knowing what they have been.
Initially, I just ran around on suicide missions looking for kills. I didn't care about K/D ratios, SPM or W/L. I usually played infantry for the noob tube and extra body armor. Then I earned my first badge...that planted the seed that turned into a quest that is sure to be criticized by some of the griefer forum trolls.
To answer the standard "you don't have a life" BS, I have a wonderful life. I have a wife and kids, own a house by the beach and work in high tech. I play late into the night after the kids go to sleep and whenever I have free time around the house. It's my form of stress relief.
