In the real world- people usually run around a whole map with a gun... but at the right times, they will pull out their knives. Here- I think it's a lot better to find more opportunities to use your knife, not learn to dolfin-dive. It's already unrealistic enough that you can kill someone by stabbing them in the legs.

As with the bad hit detection. I find that that tends to happen when you're way way way too close to whoever you're trying to stick.

The REAL secret is to lower all the specs of the game to low. That significantly speeds up how fast the game runs and does give you a big advantage.

It has been a while since I have played BF2, but when I did that, I owned everyone. People who owned me all the time with the knife before, I laid them the smackdown when I adjusted my specs.

If your playing the game competitivly then you should be playing with low specs. Low specs make everything stand out. For example players hiding in shadows will be easily recognisable to you.

Knifing is all about timing. You have to know when to stab, and once you have that timing down you do not need to dolphin dive!!! A stab will kill with one shot, and a sniper or medic makes the best target. If the target is prone dive on him with knife out, so you will not get pegged off by his teammates. If the target is standing then I crouch to hit him in midsection, and avoid the first shot of his gun, before he can aim down at me.

Please do not dolphin dive or write a macro to dolphin dive, because this exploits the game and ruins it for everyone! Thanks!!!!

U can get good by doing the "Super Man" it is where u are in the air press z and the slash the nife or just dive and hit the guy in the legs
