GameSpot is reporting that with the recent EA acquisition of DICE EA has decided to close DICE Ontario Canada and DICE London England offices.

Good. DICE CA ruined BF2 (they made the patches). I think I speak for all Canadians when I say good riddance; they were a stain on good Canadian soil.

Sad, about the DiCE UK offices too. It was posted about the CA office last week.

EA keeps it track record going strong for breaking up gaming companies. *sigh*, I really get tired of EA. I am glad I don't like console gaming so I don't have to really affliate with them too much beyond the BF franchise.

And for all those that want to trash the CA office for F'ing up BF, well at least there was an office doing something. What if there were no patches period...well, I guess 1.22 was fine place to leave the game.

Here is my take on it all....

First of all Dice Sweden made the game, they know the code, shouldnt they be the ones to fix there own product. Dice Canada was tought the code(probably rushed through it too) from people of another country, another language....obviously this leaves room for fault.....

Im not angry at Dice Canada for screwing up the patches, Im angry at Dice Sweden for being to god damn busy with other games to fix the mess that has become of BF2

Or atleast properly teaching Dice C the ins and outs of the engine

But thats all over know, and 30 or so good developers lost there job....and for what....

It was mistake for Dice to ever have signed with EA...and now we are witnessing there downfall.

I respected them with BF42 yet it seems after ever BF game they get more and more greedy, and less worried about the fans....

Its a shame really...what this series could have been....

Dice swedan....it was Dice Canada that never fixed it

I don't care whos fault it is... they need to fix the damn F-35B/J-10 bullsh*t.

I get shot down by people that are just starting to play the game cause they were in a J-10 plus they got lucky (IE I was stupid and accidentally let them see me... then had no flares)


But thank god canada is gone... FFS..

Exactly why EA and DICE can rot in the deepest parts of hell. Once I get sick and tired of BF2, it's back to CS:Source for me. Or maybe I'll go to Crysis.

Owkay..

I'm just hoping that BF3 will be a good game again.. I'm not buying BF2142 anyways since it's just a ripoff it's full of bugs. And I've expected way more from the game..
