SF screws up BF2, need help

last time i installed SF, it scewed up BF2. now, i have a 1.4 patch, wheras i had 1.0 when i installed it. i have reinstalled BF2 and uninstalled SF, because when i tried to patch BF2 to 1.22 with SF installed, it said i had no acess to the game, so i could not patch it. Now, i have 1.4. can i install SF now without it changing BF2 completly, and have 1.4 on SF too?


if i get good results, ill tell u how to get inside of the UAV trailer on sandbox!

You'll have to re-install v1.4 after installing SF.

you mean, re-install it into the game, and thats it? why wouldnt it wok when i tried to put on 1.22?

because bf2 has to be gay and think that there cool by making a new patching ways with incrementals but its totally ****

#1. Always use the least FULL patch when you're having patching problems
#2. Always install BF2, SF, then latest patch, then booster packs, then latest patch AGAIN
#3. BF2 patching has never made sense

Installation from scratch can be complex if your starting from scratch with BF2, SF, EF and AF
Its really easy however if you have the latest FULL patch...
Install BF2 then SF which will install 1.2 (i think) then install EF and AF.

Run 1.4 over the top to make sure all boosters are patched.

The moral of the story... Patch Patch Patch..... oh and if you need to, run the FULL 1.4 patch again

uh huh.......well, i installed SF, and patched it with 1.22. but when i tried to patch it with 1.3, it said that 1.22 want installed.

damn, now whenever i start SF, it sais that it cannot find lightning in my mod folders, but BF2 works fine.
