Assault:
M16:very very useful in mid range, rapid fire in single shot+pinpoint accuracy
AK101:rules in CQC, due to its high power and low deviation added when moving, accuracy is OK but recoil is a bit high
G3A3:Powerful weapon that knocks everything in Cq,Decent for mid range, poor sight and high recoil though
F2000:pretty simllar to the AK, but I can't stand the sound and the deviation added per shot

Medic:
M16/AK101 as above
L85A1:AK's power + M16's accuracy + excellent scope, terrible deviation added per shot though
G36E:low recoil, high accuracy, but I can't seem to use it well. Yeah, the most poor sight weapon IMO

Spec Ops:
G36C:Zero recoil, period
M4A1:G36C with higher recoil
AK47u:terrible Deviation added per shot
SCAR-L:.........

AT:
DAO beats all SMGs in CQC
Pistol beats all SMgs in mid range

Support:
M249:best CQC weapon apart from FAMAS
RPK-74:best support weapon
PKM:best at mid range, probably able to beat RPK

Spec Ops:
G36C:Zero recoil, period

Zero recoil my ***! not that it's a lot, but there is still enough recoil to make it hard to battle a sniper.

I liked the P90 (2nd unlock for AT), when I first used it, and it proved great for peppering bullets into peoples heads; unfortunately- regardless of it's minimal recoil... I still find if difficult to use... any tips anyone?
