ok so yesterday i trid playin bf2 and i would double click desktop icon and then the screen would go blank then jest to this what is goin on? i uninstalled it and then reinstalled it ....stil this. what do i do.

The game does not like the resolution / fresh rate you have it set at!!!!

Update your graphics drivers to the latest and change your resolution / refresh rate to something your PC can handle or is happy with.

When you get into BF2 make sure that the video settings under options is the same as those you set for the PC.

Should work......my son had the same problem with his computer, it was a graphics driver / graphics setting issue.

You might have to delete the BF2 folder in My Documents too, because that remembers all the old settings.

You might want to set it at the lowest resolution and work your way up. Some guy had this same problem with the BF2142 demo and had to try each resolution to see which one the computer liked.
