Yeah mine crashed when trying to login... i'm so happy it's a general problem because for a minute there i thought my account had been hacked or was corrupt in some way... even reinstalled BF2 from scratch and it still wasn't working and I was ready to shoot myself, because life simply isn't worth living without battlefield.. and then i found all these posts here, thank GOD! yes by the way I have no life at all. Let's hope it gets sorted out soon.

took mine like 3 minutes to login, and then another 30 seconds to pick a server, another 15 for it to start loading. And then when I wanted to get back to the menu another 15. Then I had to go back to the menu again and It wouldnt respond.

So this has been going on all day... took me 2 restarts and 5 clicks on log in, and 25 minutes later.

So my 1 and a half of hours BF2 time has been widdled down to about 45 min. give or take. Guess I should look for a server full of noobs since no friends are on.

:edit: my ping to my favorite server, which is usually ~40-60, was 347442 because of the log in. hehe

Too cheap to put 2142 on a seperate server, EA downloader is stealing all their bandwidth and screwing up their log in server. No doubt in my mind. Just imagine what is going to happen to BF2 when 2142 is actually up and running. We are screwed blue and tatoo'd.

I tried logging in and like you all said, it hangs on the connecting to server screen. I couldn't be bothered waiting for it to stop trying to connect, so i pulled the plug on my comp :P

Cheap basterds did not add extra bandwith to the account servers.
Today the 2142 demo came out.
I'll give you one guess why where are hosed.

I'll bet if you dnload the 2142 demo and create an account you will login.
