Can't log in to my account

Hi fellas. I have this problem where when I try to connect to my account the "Connecting to account server" comes up and stays like that for a long time, like 5 mins. So I go to Task Manager and it says "Not Responding" next to BF2. How can I fix this?

Just got that too, maybe it's no you or me but just a server issue?

I am having the same issue... Logged in fine yesterday, today, after 10 attempts, I cannot get past "Connecting to Account Server"

Thank God - I thought I was going mad! Same issue here and I just got off EA support call who have no clue. She tells me the servers are fine and it must be an issue with my ports! Pathetic.

Anyone got any idea on what the issue is or how to fix it?

it happens the master server goes offline

same for me as well, although after deciding to leave it on its blank screen for ages, it did go through evenyually, and then wasnt classed as not repsonding.

but also, after i finished a game, and wanted to quit, it would take a3-4mins to act on that click, like the whole menu and interface became slow and buggy, i guess as mentioned it was all to do with a server side issue.

This is happening right now to me- both vanilla and SF
it's taking forever to display the EA ... then stalling big time during connect to account.... been trying for 40 min now
