The owner of the Top 100 mods site (DoomSayer) is pretty pissed about all the whining and complaints about his site. So, he has no mods posted on his site anymore, but he has a message he has posted on his site. Check the Link

He is not happy and when more BF2 Mod lovers see this, they are not going to be happy. I think he should not of Taken all the mods off his site, but he had good reason to. What do you guys think?

Good for him. People need to quit their bitching. Just because it's the internet, doesn't mean you're obligated to complain about every little thing.

Who ever said whining doesn't fix things, was wrong
I liked that site, but now that there is no more mods on it and now it's going to be harder to find good mods from other sites.

I can agree with doomsayer, if you read some of the flames about the unreleased mods it just got rediculous...I mean, how ignorant can some people get

I do aguee, but It still sucks that all the whining finlly got to him and he was forced to take all the mods off.

I never registerd to his forum. So, i wouldn't know about the whining and so on. But I feel sorry for the guy.

He wasn't necessarily forced to take it down, he chose to. I blame everyone, to be honest. We need to be a lot less receptive to people who constantly complain and whine about every little thing. Peer pressure can extend to the web, everything else does.

He made a great judgement call.

I too donate my time, and money to causes. Never before have any of them ever whined, or complained about me doing something for them.

If they would have, I simply would have stopped helping them.

People suffer because they can never be happy with what they have. Thats why there are so many who take from one another. When they can't do that? They blame, and complain.

I liked looking at the mods he posted the his site, even if some of them were not relanced yet.

I think he did the right thing.
Its sad to see that BF2 mods are competative in this way or that they would behave in such a way without having the sense to realise that this is the only practicle solution to the complaints.

Sorry, guys. I didn't want to take it down, but I could only take 50 emails and 25 comments a day for the last 6 months. All the sites are still there, the topsites list is just disabled.

I've been pondering the thought of suspending the culprit mods and turning the site back on, but that will open a whole new can of worms that I'm not sure I'm ready for. They already started leaving comments on the BF2142 list trying to get that one shut down too. That's when I started to think that enough was enough and that I may turn it back on just for spite.

I dont really understand the issue. Cant you just ignore them? I would out the mods who were doing this and then let the public deal with them. After that my guess is those guys would leave you alone.

It sucks that some people have so little a life of thier own, and this is the result of that.

I want to play BFA, so I dont want that crew bothered with all such nonsense. They have important work to do.

I never saw what the issue was, and that link above is dead. I am sure it was closed for a good reason.

An explanation of what this was really about (I know you were being bombarded, but what with exactly?) would be cool, for nothing more than curiosity.
