2142 Demo out!

WOOT!! If you have preordered 2142 through the EA DLer, the demo is out for DL NOW!! Well at least it is at 8:30 EST USA!

Its about 1.1gb demo. Woohooo.. 45 minutes till its done!

I purchased SF & both boosters for BF2 through the DLer with absolutely NO probs, so I figured WTH!

Another great thing about the Dler is NEVER having to EVER worry about scratching or breaking the disks or ever having to put a disk in to play!

So long to the whinners in the BF2 forums, although I will still play the game occasionally. It launches for us at midnight here in the PST so you stay classy TotalBF2.
So much for all the boycott threads huh. :laugh:

I'm boycotting 2142 for the fact that the BF is stale as hell I'll sit and wait for a game that actually changes something before I spend more money ie. play mechanics

I agree that I am a little battlfielded out too; so yeah I could see some how would feel that way. Since I figure this will be the finale sort of besides maybe a booster addition.

It will be out in 2 hours at midnight I guess.

Yeah also the fact that if you don't bacup the copy that you downloaded you have to dl it again.

I downloaded it and installed off EA downloader I keep getting "d3dx9_29.dll was not found" error. I unistalled it and reinstalled it 3 times still no luck.

It comes out for everyone on Saturday, October 7th. Now my question is: is this just a single-player demo or will it also have multiplayer?

You need to reinstall Direct X 9
