Graphics Issue with BF2 and with the 1.4 Patch!

:evil: When I load the map in singleplayer mode and or multiplayer mode I get a flashing problem or (shuttering) before and after I join the map. No Issues during loading. I tried everything like,uninstalling graphic drivers and installing drivers from video card disc and all that I downloaded thru the past no luck. Also I tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling the game with Euro Force,Armored Fury and patch 1.4 no luck at all. And sometimes it locks up and my headphones squeal bad.

Well with only 1gb of ram i'd lower the texture setting to med, that will stop the shuddering at the start of a round.
Or get youself 2gb of ram. :rock:
Also try lowering some of the other in-game graphic setting like lighting and shadows.

Make sure all of your internal fans are working and clean out your case while you're at it.

as mentioned already -

clean case - check cpu temps (the loud noise makes me thing comp is trying to lock up)
update drivers
1gb ram is pushing it, even while using something like a 6800, 2gb ram would be better
drop texture to medium - keep everything on med

lol i have 1gb of ram and jvidia fx 5700 and i play on mostrly low with half of them medium.... hmm i think ive had that happen to me.but i honestly dont know what i idid to fix it i dont think i did anything...

Ha Ha fixed it. The board I have only supports only Double Sided DDR333 in all four slots not DDR400. I switch ram with 2x(512) Double Sided DDR400 ram in two slots and all fixed. Just a fare warning before you install ram read the manual and follow it to the tee. Do your research before you buy your memory for the best performance for your motherboard. Yea I am going to buy 2gigs of memory.
