So you would actually waste an artillery blast on one single guy who will respawn 15 seconds later? Wouldn't you rather hit a more populated area to clear out an area for your team?

Actually the best way to hide, if there's a carrier, is underneath it where all the boats are. If no one is using the boat, get in one for defense... (if anyone ever attacks you).

not quite, plucky. oft times earlier on in the game, you'd end up with APCs camping under there. Even now on Iron Gator you'll have the choppers camping down there..

Oh yeah, I think the best place is probably inside the carrier, just above the boat level. That'll probably be a better place.

You were stat padding with arty to get your swimming killz badge, that's why they banned you.

As for the banning for swimming? i'll often get a chopper to drop me in the middle of nowhere on wake or dalian or oman, this way there it is so much harder to be found should the enemy begin attacking the carrier or the airfield, etc.

That is one of the dumber reasons I've heard for getting banned, but like baggy says the best way to get unbanned is to go to their forums.

You could just go down inside the carrier...you won't get arty'ed or killed no matter what, but I guess your way works as well.

Maybe they thought you couldn't doggy-paddle and command 32 troops at the same time including artillery, UAV and etc. All that electronic equipment in the water could be hazardous!

yes I would..........

have you ever been in a heated tank battle and ask for supplies, or pulled up to a flag and asked for UAV, or asked for a vehicle drop...................only to hear the commander say........"ok give me a sec, I have to respawn"

I really hate the denying of supplies for my tank because my commander is dead, because I usually end up dead also LOL

wow I would do stuff like that too. It keeps you from getting knifed while in the CS and also protects you from most small arms fire, arty, and vehicles. Only a few maps really have good spots like that though.

It's a shame that mproviz1 didn't come back and explain what happen, thus clearing the air.

And all of you that complained that the ban was unfair or stupid, didn't know the story. A little frickin research before commenting would have been a good idea. Comments like 'noobiest server ever' are just iditioc and uninformed.

He was banned because in the death-cam view, he appeared to be glitching.

Hence, in the eyes of the admin, he was cheating. He posted his complaint on their forums and they decided that it may have just been a bug. They have since unbanned him.

Modersgaming runs a pretty good server. If you have problems with them or any clan server, bring it up with them and not the whole damn community.
