I was in moders 24/7 ghostown commanding on the SAS side, and I was in the water tunnel under the main uncap base in a little nook. After the round ended, it said someone banned me for hacking/swimming. Has anyone ever heard of anything like this happening to someone? And secondly, does anyone know of a way to contact moder's people to request to be unbanned? This server is basically all I play on!!

That has to be the gayest reason to ban anyone ever.
I think you should report the server -

Re: Banned for swimming while commanding??
Best way to get unbanned is to go to their forums and put in a request - not a complaint.
As for the banning for swimming? i'll often get a chopper to drop me in the middle of nowhere on wake or dalian or oman, this way there it is so much harder to be found should the enemy begin attacking the carrier or the airfield, etc.Comment

Even with scans and UAV's, the commander won't bother throwing artillery on you when you're miles away from land. When the commander spots him, no one will pay attention. So he's almost invincible.Originally posted by Sir. DesertFoxScans,UAVComment

I use to play Moders 24/7 Ghost Town. Then one round they threatened to kick me cause I was in a tank. They said I had "been in it too long." :|:Comment

Yeh, like someone else said its a poor commander who bothers to use arty against you - or you're on a bloody poor team if theres no other worthwhile targets for artillery!Originally posted by Sir. DesertFoxScans,UAV
You do tend to be ignored, unless your side is capped out in which case you'll become a lovely target for everything!Comment

Re: Banned for swimming while commanding??
I would. If I am commanding, I often look for the other commander and kill him over and over. If I see the white dot, I am on the move especially if the other commander is just laying down on the job. Besides most servers will not let the commander do anything, but usually don't care if you are just killing the other commander.Originally posted by PluckyX24Even with scans and UAV's, the commander won't bother throwing artillery on you when you're miles away from land.
